Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant
Any Specialist Products or Services? An awarding winning restaurant with many recommendations
I ventured to the spice court for the 1st time on a saturday night recently.I had not heard much about this particular Indian restaurant and with the old saying of "no news is good news" in the back of my mind decided to give it a try.The staff were attentative, smart and generally good at their job. The restaurant was very clean and pleasantly presented. Sadly however the food was to be a major disappointment. To start I chose prawn puri which was very devoid of flavour. The prawns were miniscule and washed out (rather like frozen cocktail shrimps) and I didnt enjoy it.For my main course I chose a Chicken Balti, again I was to be disappointed with below-par meat quality and a sauce that was no better than a pre-prepared jar of Balti sauce from a supermarket. The side dish of Aloo Gobi was fine as was the Naan bread but such small comforts hardly disguise what was a a disappointing meal at a venue myself, or indeed anybody asking me for a recommendation, will be avoiding.I give the restaurant 2 stars as opposed to 1 because of the staff and to give a 1 star rating would be harsh on their professionalism and also the cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant.

Very upmarket restaurant with excellent service to match. The food was the best I have tasted in medway towns. They have fantastic Thursday deal in which you can have anything of the menu for £10. They have eat as much as you like sunday buffet for only £8.50
