    The Running Horse is a Harvesters restaurant on the outskirts of Maidstone - seconds away from the M2 and M20. It seems to have a mix of clients but is particularly popular with young families and so it's well worth booking at peak times. Good menu as long as your not vegetarian, salad cart is always fun. Service has always been very friendly but can be a bit slow at busy times. Parking can sometimes be difficult as some commuters carshare and leave there car in the carpark opposite.

    The Running Horse Maidstonehttp://www.harvester.co.uk/find-a-harvester/Therunninghorsemaidstone.htmlThis is a Harvester!The salad cart is there and so is the menu.The service here igood and the menu delivers what it says.If you know and like a Harvester you will not be dissapointed,it is what it is.The value for money is good and the restaurant is nice to dine in.The only downside is the bar area that you use to wait to be seated is a little spartan and bereft of character
