my partner and i stayed here on monday 22 aug,we booked for 2 nights at £40 per night, ive never stayed in anywhere so discusting.Like a fool i handed over the money before seeing the room. They only take cash payment up front that i wasnt happy wiv,we proceeded to our room,i couldnt believe it ,the carpets looked like they had never seen a hoover although there was one cos i tripped over it on the landing, the door locks were hanging off and door frames all smashed and painted over, the bedside lamps never worked, food wrappers and half drunk bottles of drink in wardrobe, broken head board, dirty cups and no milk, the shower could only be used if you held it and was filthy, the toilet was absalutly discusting we found a bttle of bleach and cleaned it before we could use it ,there was a patio door wiv a broken lock that was wedged shut with a piece of wood. We never got any sleep for strange noises, then to top it all was the breakfast, bacon, scrambled eggs and beans. The bacon smelt like something had died which my partner actually tried and was sick , the eggs i took one mouthfull and had to spit them out. We both felt ill all day. We booked out straight after breakfast but they refused to refund our money for the second night we'ed booked,i want to take it futher. One other thing we noticed in dining area fire alarms broken.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!Only gave a star as I had to! My Sister and I had the misfortune to stay in this dreadful accommodation on Thursday 28th October. It is dirty, cluttered and unwholesome. There were no towels in the room, everything was filthy and I do mean everything even the kettle! No milk for tea in the room. No lamps worked, the window did not lock and the door lock was faulty. The breakfast was served on a cold platter and the plates on the table were cold. Cold tinned mushrooms, cheap nasty sausage and some sort of fried stuff that was akin to rubber. The bacon was edible but the egg was congealed and cold. The tea was undrinkable..tasted of pepper. I will never stay there again and think it is a blight on the Isle of Sheppey's tourist trade. Best regards Penny
