Good news for those requiring to register a Lasting Power of Attorney.  The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) reduced the registration fee on 1st April 2009 from £150 to £120.  Also OPG increased the income figure at which the fee becomes payable to £16500 and increased the other figures also by £500 so that donors with income of under £12000 no longer pay a fee to register.  Willmakers of Maidstone can deal with the registration on behalf of clients.
