When another nearby restaurant wanted us to take a 19:00 or 21:00 sitting despite the fact that I wanted 18:30 and knew they would be empty I decided to go elsewhere. We were all very glad we did.The Zinga is fairly small and has gone for a clean, basic minimalist appearance. The menu has the 'traditional' dishes you would expect of most Indian restaurant and a number of specials. We skipped the starters and our mains we ordered - a Bhuna, Dansak and Korma, with a Brinjal Bhajee, Onion Bhajee and Bombay Aloo and plain nann all to be washed down with some large and very cold bottles of Kingfisher. The food when it arrived was fresh, hot and exceptional especially the Bhuna and Dansak. The level of service was equally good, prompt and friendly without being intrusive.I get the impression that they focus on the take-away and delivery element, this may be because they are a short walk from Rainham's car parks but it is worth it! I'll definitely be back.
