Now I know Chinese buffets aren't intended to be fine dining, but I've never been in one as bad as this before. First up, we asked for Chinese tea, with a little tap water to cool the tea down for the children. They refused, saying we had to spend £1.60 on a bottle of water. Shysters. If we'd not been invited there by family, I'd have walked out then. Every dish was tepid if not cold, the rice and noodles were congealed. Several dishes had a skin on them, and vegetables looked well past their prime. As for vegetarian dishes - forget it! Some wrinkled old mushrooms in gravy, and that little known Chinese delicacy, deep fried condensed milk. Yes, that's right, DEEP FRIED CONDENSED MILK. In fact deep fried described half the dishes there. Apalling. And the staff were SO rude. BUT.....we did get a laugh out of the place when we walked past at a time when it was shut. Through the windows could clearly be seen the chef, slumped over - asleep? Dead? Depressed? across a table. I don't blame him.

Wow flame bar, you think, but in reality its just a pretty normal drinking establishment. They have a few plays on the title inside, but its not out of this world.
